Surgical Care for the Face, Jaw and Mouth

Our Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery department, led by Dr Amaninder Singh — a post-graduate surgeon with over 18 years of experience — handles everything from impacted wisdom teeth to complex facial fractures, cysts and corrective jaw surgery. Every procedure is planned in-house using advanced imaging, performed with strict sterilization protocols, and followed up personally. Where orthodontic or ENT input is needed, our in-house specialists work together so patients get a single coordinated treatment plan.

What We Offer

Wisdom Tooth Removal

Impacted or partially erupted wisdom teeth can cause pain, infection, crowding and even damage to adjacent teeth. We assess every case with panoramic and 3D imaging before surgery, then remove the tooth with minimal trauma and a short recovery — even for deeply impacted or nerve-adjacent cases.

Bone Grafts

When bone has been lost to gum disease, trauma or long-term tooth loss, grafting rebuilds the ridge so implants can be placed safely and predictably. We use autografts, allografts and synthetic bone substitutes depending on the site — including block grafts for larger defects.

Sinus Lifts

Upper back teeth often sit just below the sinus cavity, and bone there is thin after tooth loss. A sinus lift gently raises the sinus membrane and adds bone graft material, creating enough height for stable implants. We perform both lateral and crestal approaches, often at the same time as implant placement.

Cysts Management

Jaw cysts and benign tumors can silently enlarge and weaken bone if left untreated. We diagnose them with imaging, then remove them surgically — often with bone grafting to preserve the surrounding structure — and send tissue for biopsy to confirm the diagnosis.

TMJ Issues

Clicking, jaw pain, headaches and restricted opening often point to a temporomandibular joint disorder. We begin with conservative treatment — bite splints, physiotherapy, medication — and reserve surgery for the small number of cases that don't respond, including arthrocentesis and joint procedures.

Oral Biopsy

Any non-healing ulcer, white or red patch, or unusual growth in the mouth needs a proper diagnosis. We take a small tissue sample under local anesthesia and send it to a pathology lab, with results usually back within a few days so treatment can begin without delay.

Oral Cancers

Early detection saves lives. We screen for oral cancer at every routine exam, biopsy suspicious lesions promptly, and coordinate with oncologists for confirmed cases. Surgical excision and reconstruction are planned together so function and appearance are preserved wherever possible.

Orthognathic Surgery

For patients with a jaw discrepancy that can't be corrected with braces alone, orthognathic surgery repositions the upper or lower jaw to fix the bite, breathing and facial balance. We plan the entire journey with our in-house orthodontists — typically 12–18 months of braces around a single surgical procedure.
